Meet The Founder

Ariell Ilunga is a former NYC fashion publicist turned food entrepreneur. After returning to her hometown of Los Angeles, Ariell found connection by volunteering for a local non-profit, assisting in the organization and supervision of farmers markets, including the Hollywood Farmers’ Market. Here she received a hands-on education in agriculture, seasonality and farm-to-table cooking. Working at the intersection of passionate food makers, growers and enthusiastic shoppers, the idea for Carla’s Fresh Market was born.

Reimagining the grocery experience

Now open in Los Angeles' Highland Park. The first of its kind neighborhood grocery store, provides access to fresh, local produce, game changing CPG brands and a Somm curated natural wine & beer bottle shop. The deli counter has coffee & tea, fresh bread and pastries delivered daily and a produce driven sandwich & salad menu.
